BOCHUM, Germany--Topical vitamin B12 helps relieve the severity and duration of atopic dermatitis, according to a study published in the British Journal of Dermatology (150, 5:977-83 May 2004) (www.blackwell-synergy.com). Researchers from Ruhr University, Bochum, evaluated the efficacy and tolerability of topical vitamin B12 and its effects on atopic dermatitis--also known as eczema.

Head Lice - Smothering vs Lice Treatment Shampoos

A Third of Vitamin E Products Found to be Substandard in Tests
Consumer Lab tested fifteen vitamin E products. These consisted of natural and synthetic vitamin E products, in the form of oral supplements or topical creams and oils. Five of the products failed Consumer Lab quality tests as they did not contain the stated amount of vitamin E and/or they contained synthetic vitamin E despite claiming to contain only natural vitamin E. A further product was found to be excessively low in vitamin E concentration, although it did not specify an amount.
