Pocket-sized make-up packaging

Excellent telescope mascara wins two prizes

Compelling standard packaging: BAMBOO with telescope function wins German Packaging Award and World Star 2008. The innovative mascara BAMBOO from DieterBakicEnterprises has been awarded two of the industry’s most prestigious prizes: the German Pack-aging Award 2008 and the World Packaging Organization's World Star Award 2008.

The standard packaging BAMBOO won the juries over with functionality. The mascara works like a telescope – twist open the cap and the mascara brush extends to full standard length but upon inserting the brush into the base and twisting, the brush shortens and returns to the original length. The minimalistic design reduces required space and guarantees user friendliness when opened. This compact little helper will fit even in the smallest purse. Its capacity is 8 ml.

BAMBOO’s telescope applicator can be used for lip gloss and eyeliner as well. Like all standard packaging from DieterBakicEnterprises, this mascara can be customized and decorated in many ways.

Green Print and Packaging Materials- More Than Just ‘recycle, Reuse, Renew’- Dig Deeper!

ORANGE, CA - Oct 30, 2008 /SOAPWIRE/ -- What green printing really all about?  When we think 'green printing' the terms 'recycled', FSC Certified, and 'soy inks' come to mind, but is that all there is?  Are these things really enough?  One ton of recycled paper still consumes up to four trees, 18,000 BTU's of energy, creates up to two tons of solid waste, and creates thousands of gallons of contaminated waste-water? Certainly FSC, SFI, and PEFC are important designations and diverting pulp production from irresponsibly managed forests is critical, but at what point will we begin to tip the balance of FSC paper production versus FSC forestry growth toward the negative?

Doing Your Part- Design and Source your Packaging for Maximum Recyclability

ORANGE, CA - Oct 28, 2008 /SOAPWIRE/ -- “Is my label recyclable?”  In my thirteen plus years of producing quality labels to the food, natural products and personal care industries I’ve never heard a single question asked as often as this one in the last six months!  But before you accept the answer from an uninformed label printer and choose a different decoration method to make your package more eco-friendly read on!

You’ve invested time and money into getting a PCR bottle; you’ve avoided BPA, vinyl, and PVC and have selected a container that works well in the recycling stream.   You may have even gone so far as to choose a white, clear or black container color so that it won’t contaminate the recycling stream (yes, black is a high demand color for PCR so it isn’t necessarily a bad choice).  Bravo, you’ve done your part…or have you?

Your Label, Your Way, Simplified!

Worldlabel.Com launches new tool to create beautiful labels, simply and easily

Labels are often the first face-to-face introduction between your product and your potential consumer; the goal is for that label to be so curiously compelling, the hands reach out to make contact for further examination. Worldlabel.Com, Inc. understands the art of the label and the psychological power it can have and has thus launched launched free autofillpdf-labels, an easy-to-use label system for creating basic formatted labels that you control and that give outstanding visual quality and clarity.

Soapmakers can access http://www.worldlabel.com/Pages/autofillpdf-labels.htm to get started creating and instantly printing superior quality labels. According to Russell Ossendryver of Worldlabel.com, “There is no quicker way to create and print a sheet of labels. This is the biggest attribute as they are a huge productivity shortcut. They are especially useful for small start-ups and mom-and-pop businesses, for folks with limited design experience and companies making multiple shipments to specific clients. They are also excellent for making labels for quick mock up of test products.”
