Big River Wholesale Acquires CraftLobby
Memphis, TN. - Nov 13 /SOAPWIRE/ -- Bath and body and personal care product manufacturing firm Big River Wholesale announced today that it has acquired candle and soap making supplier CraftLobby, LLC. CraftLobby had served as an online supplier to soap and candle making hobbyists and small businesses for the past six years. Big River Wholesale signalled that it intended to continue to service CraftLobby customers and to offer the company's most popular products, but that it would be adding products and services unique to Big River.
"We and CraftLobby are a perfect fit, because CraftLobby gives us a range of products, such as their bath and body bases, that have proven popular with crafters and the general public that we can introduce to a larger audience through our private label and manufacturing services." said Joe Skelley, product manager of Big River Wholesale. "Through us, CraftLobby can offer their current customers access to larger quantity purchasing and access to products, such as medicated creams and ointments, that cannot be manufactured in a home business environment, due to government health and safety regulations."
Big River will continue to offer CraftLobby's soap and bath and body making bases, fragrances, fragrance oils, bulk bottles and containers, oils, butters, chemicals and additives. However, they will also offer retail packaged cosmetics, creams, ointments, and environmentally-conscious products, as well as packaging, filling, and private labeling services for the personal care industry.
Customers will find that CraftLobby's longtime site has been replaced by Big River Wholesale's, but a few familiar faces will remain. "CraftLobby employees will still provide our customer service," Skelley said, "As a manufacturer, we have never sold directly online, and we want our customers to continue to deal with experienced craft people with whom they are already comfortable."
