"30% Travel Subsidy” for delegates attending IntertechPira’s Natural and Organic Cosmetics conference
Recognising and responding to the current economic crisis IntertechPira have decided to offer a ‘Travel subsidy’ of 30% on their forthcoming Natural and Organic Cosmetics conference, due to take place London, UK on 9th – 11th December 2008.
“When economic pressure is on, travel and training budgets are the first to be hit” says the event’s
organiser, Senior Conference Producer, Rob Stead. “We recognise this is the case and don’t want you
to miss out as a result.” So, the IntertechPira has decided to offer participants a ‘Travel Subsidy’ of a
massive £300 to cover travel costs for visiting attendees.
While overall trends for natural products are on the increase, the last few weeks have seen a significant
slowdown in retail consumer products as the population curbs their spending in preparation for a feared
recession. Certain areas of ethical manufacturing, in particular socially responsible sourcing, are holding
up to the cost pressure and ethical venture capital continues to show promise for investors but there will
be casualties in this sector, as in others.
This conference will investigate in detail exactly which markets are showing potential, and which areas
are in decline, to give you a competitive edge in these tough times. Leaders in the sustainability debate,
brand agency Dragon, will present a new study and their own unique insight into today’s natural and
organic consumer.
A retailer’s view from top UK outlet, So Organic, will report on consumer contact experience while the
global markets and advertising trends will be picked apart by Euromonitor and mymarketmonitor.com.
The keys to exploiting ever more dominant digital channels will be revealed by award winning London
advertising agency Glue.
Day two will field a discussion of labelling, certification and trends in formulation and ingredients with
presentations from Union of Ethical Biotrade, NaTrue and the Soil Association, Cognis. Herb UK,
and Harley Street Cosmetics among others. Chaired my well known and published industry
commentator Dr Barbara Olioso, (Organatural) this event will be an important forum for discussion of
the future in the natural and organic cosmetic sector.
PLUS! Register for the conference and get 25% discount on the pre-conference workshop: “How to
make your packaging more sustainable – actions you can take today!”, led by Ciba Expert Services’s
Director of Sustainability, Gary Parker.
