“We were honored when Peggi Preston, the Ventura County Regional Director, invited us to escort the Ventura County delegation of 60 very excited athletes into the auditorium,” said Miles, “It was a meaningful event for each and every one of those athletes, and it was inspiring to see all the coordinators, coaches and volunteers who contributed time and energy year-round to make it happen. There was not a single person in that place with negative energy.”
