NEW YORK, Feb. 13 -- Celebrating its 15th year anniversary, HBA has been the leading product development event for the entire cosmetics, personal care, and fragrance industries. Starting in 2007, HBA will be marketed as HBA Global Expo (www.hbaexpo.com) and encompass three important industry sectors: Marketing, Technical and Naturals. These key areas will have a focused educational program as well as dedicated exhibits that will provide attendees with the most comprehensive view of the industry--from formula to finish.
HBA Global Expo will also collaborate with CMPi's leading international ingredients events serving the pharmaceutical, food and health industries including Health Ingredients, Natural Ingredients and Food Ingredients held in Asia and Europe. By tapping into these events industry knowledge, market positioning and promotion, HBA will be the first dedicated event in North America to platform the growing convergence of cosmetics and ingestible foods.
"This new positioning and event partnership, underscores the breadth of HBA's offerings and its significance as a worldwide sourcing forum for the industry," said Jay Gorga, event director for HBA Global Expo. "Attendees will be able to spend their time at the event more efficiently and be totally immersed in the entire business of beauty, health and wellness. Innovative solutions in the various stages of product development will be strategically platformed at HBA and the enhanced conference program, new product showcases and the exhibit floor presentation theater will spotlight the latest trends and emphasize future industry directions."
Taking place September 18-20, 2007, the 15th Annual HBA Global Expo (www.hbaexpo.com) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, will focus on these key industry components:
HBA Marketing will be the leading international forum for brand building and packaging innovation. Exhibitors will include leading suppliers of prestige and mass market packaging components including glass, plastic, metal, pumps, delivery systems, labels, and decoration; point-of-sale displays, and design houses.
The complementary Marketing Conference Program will provide the latest information on marketing and strategic brand development, packaging, design, and display experts as well as industry trends and forecasts.
HBA Technical will bring together raw materials, ingredient suppliers, and formulators, to provide a rich sourcing forum from which new products begin. The exhibits will be centrally located on the show floor in the area formerly known as PCITX (Personal Care Ingredients & Technology Expo). Also included in this area will be analytical and testing devices, lab equipment, bio- technologies, and other innovative companies presenting new technologies. HBA Technical will also showcase private label innovations and the latest in contract manufacturing and filling solutions.
The Technical Conference will enlighten attendees on the latest high performance and active ingredients, research, scientific findings and technologies that are impacting and redefining product development in skin care, hair care, color cosmetics, and personal care. The latest advancements in private label and contract manufacturing will also be addressed.
Under the Technical track, the 2nd Annual HBA Regulatory Summit will also be presented. This pro-active initiative will provide insights into the movements, legislation and scientific technologies and impact of emerging global regulations in the health and beauty industry.
HBA Naturals will focus on the convergence of nature and beauty, which will include the latest botanicals, organic and healthy ingredients, and natural products to benefit the end-users' well-being. Exhibitors will include nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, nutracosmetics, earthy elements, essential oils and supplement manufacturers including products that can be taken orally or applied topically for beneficial beauty.
The dedicated Naturals exhibit floor area in Hall A of the Javits Center will be the next generation of Inside Beauty, launched in 2005 by HBA, and expands on this fast-growing billion dollar industry.
The HBA Naturals educational program will platform beauty from the inside out. Addressed during the sessions will be the latest consumer trends and insight into a new generation of products and services that target holistic wellness and beauty as well as environmental and green economy issues which is important to today's society.
In support of these new event innovations, HBA Global Expo re-designed its website to make it more efficient and beneficial to the user experience. More content, including the latest industry news as well as product introductions from leading suppliers will be added to the site. HBA Global Expo also plans to expand its marketing promotional reach with stronger alliances and new ad campaigns with leading industry media and associations.
HBA's Educational Department will also present its mid-year technical conferences on: "ANTI-AGING" and "NATURAL BEAUTY." This symposium and table- top exhibitions will take place March 21-22, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in New York City.
