Tagra Launches Tagrol Ment1 & Tagrol H1 for Cosmetic Application
Tagra Biotechnologies has launched Tagrol Ment1 – 10% microencapsulated Menthol Oil. Tagrol Ment1 allows formulators to benefit from a fresh, cooling effect without having Menthol’s original smell in the formulation.
Tagrol Ment1 uniquely captures the menthol within a polymeric capsule ensuring homogenous dispersion in formulation without requiring predissolving. Tagra’s technology masks menthol's characteristic odor and prevents it from reacting with other ingredients in the formulation. Tagra's control release mechanism ensures that menthol is released from the capsule only upon application onto the skin.
Tagrol Ment1 is ideal for use in suns-screen agents, cooling after-sun lotions and refreshing after-shave products.
Tagra Biotechnologies introduced Tagrol H1 – 25% microencapsulated Seabuckthorn/Hippophae Oil - designed to release active Sea Buckthorn oil directly to skin. Sea Buckthorn is a multi-active complex containing carotenoids, palmitoleinic acid, sitosterols and tocopherol derivates. The product accelerates skin regeneration and slows down the aging process.
Tagrol H1 protects Hippophae/Sea Buckthorn oil within the formulation ensuring maximum biological efficacy of the active-ingredients. Hippophae/Sea buckthorn is released via Tagra's control release mechanism only upon application onto the skin.
Tagrol H1 is easy to incorporate into cosmetic formulations and can be beneficial in anti-aging & eye-zone formulations, sun-care products (sunscreens and after-sun formulations) and after-hair treatment.
